I got a TN visa instead of TD when I enterd USA on June 1,2010
I travelled to Canada on Friday and entered USA yesterday through Thousand Island/I -81 customs border. ( I think it is US Chamberline border)
I told the officer that they gave me a TN instead of TD and want to fix it and also wants to apply for TN1 visa
He was very nice and said no problem and asked me to park my car and come inside.
I went inside and met another officer who was also courteous and fixed my issue and also issued me a new TN1. It all took only 10 minutes.
I really appreciate all the help from this forum and wanted to share my experience
