My experience trip to Japan!!!

I just returned today from my 2 weeks business trip to Japan.I didn't have any problems getting to japan and the japanese immigration officer was so nice ,she didn't ask me a single question.The problem was here in the U.S I was singled out by the first security contact person (an immigrant from India) she put a yellow sign on my boarding pass and I was striped and searched and the amazing thing she just looked at the colour of the document she never opened it.Another stripe search in Tokyo coming back to the U.S the united airlines employee put a red mark on my boarding pass and My bag was searched and I was searched twice.The last hassel was in san francisco ,I went to the U.S/Permanent residents line,the officer checked my document asked some questions and send me to the secondary immigration processing center and i have to wait for 30 min and I got the I-94 with a stamp after he asked me some questions (SS #,the company I work for and my purpose of my trip to japan)

i love going to japan someday, but i heard its damn expensive there

Yes,Japan is very expensive to visit as a tourist but you know if your company is paying for everything it is nice to visit some beautiful Castles in the south of the country.I love the culture of the Japanese people,they are so respectful and very much respect forigners.I love to go back again for a business trip of course.

I had the same experience. Every and I mean every time I come back to the US they put me in the nasty little room.. THankfully, no searches so far. I am sorry you had to go through that. It will be over soon!

Would you please tell us the experience in getting a Japan visa?How long did it take?What documents the Japan consulate required?

Mine was a business trip and I was asked to get
1, Invitation letter from Japan
2,a business letter form my Company
3,reciet showing that I already applied for Green card
4,Asylum granted letter with I-94
5,6 months valid travel document
6,One picture

It takes me 3 days to get the visa but if you miss any of the above they will send you back.
