My experience with travelling Europe on RTD with no VISA and entering through Germany.
I entered Germany on the Blue Travel Document. My family wanted to visit all of Europe but I didn't know if I needed a visa to enter...
I called Several european embassies in germany to see if I needed a visa(HOlland, Italy, Spain, Switzerland). All of them told me I needed a visa to enter their country even though I didn't need a visa for Germany. We said lets try anyways who cares..
Germany-->Amsterdam, Holland
I said what the hell, all they can do is turn me back..soo..Anyways we took a train to Amsterdam, the passport control officer came on board just beforing entering Amsterdam and looked at my passport and asked me few questions on where I live etc and gave me my passport and said "Enjoy Amsterdam."
Amsterdam-->Germany-->Switzerland
Same procedure with officers looking at my passport and asking few questions and letting me in.
Switzerland-->MIlan, Italy-->Rome, Italy
The police officers were very rude at this time and took out a light to check my passort but let me go without any problem or any further questions..
Rome, Italy --->Madrid, Spain
No problems at the airport,no one asked anything or even for a passport.
Madrid, Spain--->Milan, Italy(by train) - No problems
MIlan, Italy--->New York JFK - The best experience ever in flying to u.s from any european destination. The flight attendant looked at my passport, punched it in the computer and gave me my boarding passes. The immigration control put an exit stamp without any questions...In the past, I have had troubles with the airline employee asking 1000 questions..
