My former employer is going to withdraw my current H1b and labor certification for it, because I found another job and going to use my EAD.
They told it will not hurt my GC processing, they just don't want to have me on H1B anymore. Can someone confirm that to me?

Revoking H1 should not hurt you. Ask them does Labor means LCA or Labor under your I-485?
If it is LCA it should not hurt.

I think you are fine

bugulma,

From what I know so long as 180 have passed since you filed your 485, your 140 has been approved and you have a valid EAD your old company cannot harm your process. All you have to do is make sure your new job has the same job function and description and you should be fine. I think that was the whole point of the AC-21 rule. This is what I have picked up on this forum.

I suggest that you consult a competent lawyer to make sure everything is in order.

Good luck.
