dates as in EAD #2). What is the best and swiftest way to get this corrected and get the new EAD? I applied to NSC paper forms. ND 9/24/03 and AD 11/06/03 (but with the wrong dates for the validity portion).

Thanks.

Better to call to INS or go to local INS office then tell them. They will give you new one.

I called and IIO says to send it back

but I have heard it never gets acted upon for those kind of issues.

Has anybody gotten any corrections actually done from NSC INS?

i have read this news from Murthy.com

Approvals or EADs with Errors

People often receive approval notices or employment authorization documents (EADs) on which errors have been made by the CIS. We most frequently see typographical errors resulting in the misspelling of names. We also see mistakes in the categories (such as an L-1 instead of an H1B, or approving the H-4 dependent spouse for an H1B), and wrong photos on the EADs (often switching the husband's photo with the wife's). This can be quite frustrating. The VSC has stated that they will handle requests for corrections on an expedited basis and waive any applicable fees.

NSC seem to act very slowly on these cases.

I have about slighly less than 3 months on the old card. I decided to send a new application wasting 120 plus mailing fees etc. We will see and wait if they whine about this again even after getting some money. I will try requesting correction on the old application, but highly doubt that they will act on it.
