I sent my EAD application package to Texas Service Center, PO BOX - 660867, Dallas, TX as it mentioned
in their instruction. I sent the certified mail with return receipt on 24 April, 2010. It's been 11 days since
I mailed it, but USPS online tracking still says, your item was accepted at the post office it was mailed from.
I inquired with post office and they have no way of knowing whether it was delivered or not. They can only see
what I see online.
I would not be worried this much if this mail was delivered to USCIS. I know they take time to generate the
receipt, which I am not really concerned about. Now, I don't know if it is USPS or USCIS internal mailing
system. I am not sure how they handle such mails with return receipt. If it was ever delivered, it should
change the status. I never had this type of problem previously.
Do you guys have any suggestion what I should do now? Should I reapply or wait for a few more days to see
if I get that green signed returned receipt from USPS. I am little worried because I work with EAD and my EAD
is expiring by Mid August.
