My e-field EAD approved at NBC in less than 2 months

Me and my wife's 485 are pending at Phili USCIS office. Mine is an employment based petition. I e-filed both our EAD applns at NBC, Lee's Summit, MO office on Jan 14, 2005. Did finger printing on Jan 21, 2005. Today I received an email saying that my EAD has been approved. My wife's not yet. Looks like E-filing can sometimes be faster. LUD changed 3 times at least.

the online message says After approving a new card has been ordered. Can somebody enlighten me typically how long it's going to take to get it by mail. This is my very first experience with NBC.

Question

I also e-Filed recently, sent the support documents and received a receipt notice.

After that I scheduled an appmt at the local office.

Will they be sending me an appmt letter for the Photograph, or
Should I just turn up on the day of the appmt with the necessary documents.

May be for fingerprinting

Interestingly, in my case, the online confirmation receipt had a note to schedule appointment. Me or my wife never received a receipt notice from NBC. I applied AP online too and so far I have never received any official receipt notice. I wrote a letter to the center director regarding this.

In your case, the appt is most probably for fingerprinting and photo.

You should be getting the EAD card in 4-5 days after the message shows as Card ordered.

got my wife's approved too

Got my wife's EAD approved. I have confidence in e-filing now. Both are at Missouri Service Center, Lee Summit
