My Company says I-129 withdrawal after approval

(This is a duplicate entry, I purposefully made apart from the After GC forum, to get more assistance from the Gurus)

Hi Anyone,
My company could not place me since 4 months, and My Company says I-129 withdrawal is sent to INS, I got the Green card (plastic card) too. Will this effect any way my status as a green card holder, still looking for a client.

Approval Date - August\'01

Don\'t worry

If you visit http://www.ins.usdoj.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/index.htm#chart, you will see the I-129 is a petition for a non-immigrant worker, i.e. an H-1 application. As your GC has been approved, there is no point in your company applying for an extension to your H1 visa. This is why they are withdrawing I-129, and it is perfectly normal.
