Here are my details:
1) Completed PhD in Chem Engg from USA
2) Joined a research-based american biopharma company (_900 employees) - working as a research scientist for 3 yrs (H1B). Work is related to my thesis work during PhD. The company is the first company in the world to get a drug for a cancer-like disease in more than 50 yrs and I have significant contribution for the development of the commercial engineering process for this drug.
3) Peer-reviewed journal Publications - 11, out of which 6 as first authors (citations 49) and 5 as second authors (citations 44). Total citations of all publications 93.
4)All publications are in top quality journals. As a background, only 4 journals have Impact Factor > 3 and only 20 journals have Impact Factor > 2, with the highest Impact Factor of 8 in the field of Chemical Engineering.
All my publications are > 2; 5 of them > 3 (including one > 10).
5) The best publication got some news coverage in websites including ScienceDaily.
6)Presented in ~10 top quality conferences (first author and presented by me). Additionally, I have 20-30 abstracts for presentations in which I was coauthor.
7)Wrote grants for my Prof during PhD to obtain funding. Also, reviewed journal articles for my prof (these did not come directly to me from editors).
8)Can get references from at least 5 people, excluding professors.
9)Got some small academic awards.
10) 1 pending patent

Would appreciate some guidance from experienced folks.

Many thanks in advance!

You probably have a shot for both and if you can afford the fee, you should file both EB1-OR or EB2-NIW and see what happens. Note that 7) and 9) won't count. One criterion where you come up short is having served as a judge of the work of others. Usually, this criterion is satisfied if you reviewed/referees some articles for journals or some grant applications - but the refereeing/reviewing requests must be addressed to you directly rather than to your advisor.

Hi...
Thanks for providing the information...I did went through it, but fellowships are still not considered for awards category.
Is this the final memo which the IO will be following to make a decisions on EB1 cases, because a similar kind of memo was released before for opinions.....hope the one you gave is the final thing.
