I spoke to a nice IIO lady today, after I explained to her that almost two months has elaplsed since they cancelled my interview without giving me any new dates, she said, yes she can see that, I asked her if she can tell me if there is any update to my case, she said she will check another computer and get back to me, after a short pause she came back and told me that they have put my file in the queue for another interview, she could not tell me why they descheculed the first interview nor how long it will take to schedule another interview , except that NYC is a very busy ( processing both I-485 and N-400 applications ) District office.

Today the District Offices processing dates got updated, showing NYC date as December 16, 2005. ( Thanks to backroady for his followup.)

From your experience, what does that other computer she was talking about and how does queuing works in USCIS system?

Thank you.

Hi query thanks, but Not exactly though, the lady told me that my file is still in VSC as of January 2006, and there is no update made to it except for putting it back in the queue for the next interview schedule.

Any one out there with any information on the 2nd computer they are talking about and also how the queuing works in uscis?
