my Case tranferred to San Jose

I have this status "On December 6, 2004, we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in SAN JOSE, CA for them to schedule and conduct your interview".

When we applied 485/EAD/AP, by mistake my lawyer gave my Sisters address in CA and for my wife and daughter they gave Maryland Address. Lawyer firm updated the Maryland address (over the phone to Cust. Rep.) and i also gave them Maryland Address at the time of 2nd FP in August. I surprise to see why they asked all of us to San Jose office for interview when we are in Maryland State.

What do you think? Should I prepare for San Jose office or try to shit to Baltimore office?

What do you think we change the address without sending AR-11 (Address change form) that got this Interview at San Jose?

What do you think we should prepare with form AR-11?

How long you think we should expect Interview date from SJO? What is the trend?

Thanks

Do i get the letter about transferring my case to SJO?

you get a transfer letter from your attorney(if you have one) and also you will get a letter from local san jose office with interview date. You can expect a interview letter in 4 weeks from the date of transferring.

Thanks leanback. My attorney assistant file one address for me and one address for my wife but we are living same place what is in my wife file, this might have made them to transfer my case other than this as you said mine is very straight forward case.

Unfortunately case transfer in this holiday month nobody works. i don't know whether it will take 3 or more weeks to get interview letter.
