My B1 got rejected

:confused: Hi all, I am a S/W engineer having 6.5 years of exp and working with a US based MNC in Bangalore. Recently my B1 has been rejected as I could not able to answer the consulate properly and he has given a 214(b) letter for rejection.

I would like to know the pros and cons of this rejection and the effet of this on future B1, H1B or L1 application.

I would also like to know what care I should take while applying again.

Hey, your B-1 rejection should not affect your H-1B or L-1 applications in the future as the requirements for those categories are different from the B-1 category.
