My priority date is almost current so I contacted the NVC to check the status of my application (Family Based Category F1).
I was dismayed to learn that they have no record of my application there.
I have now faxed the Texas Service Center to ask them to re-send the information to the NVC but this has me very worried that there may have been a problem with the petition at some point I am unaware of.
According to the TX Centers website my status shows as an approved petition and details the date the i-787(?) was sent to me.
Should I be doing more to correct this situation?
