My analysis on 485 approvals by NSC.

After regularly visiting this board form past six months, i understood that
485 approvals( ND and RD in year 2000) are actually not based on RD and ND.
It\'s based on when you had your FP done in 2001.

NSC has approved all EB2 cases ( RD & ND in 2000) whose FP is done
on Jan 7th.Now they are approving for jan 13 th cases.
Next will be jan 20, jan 27,feb 03,feb 10,feb 17,feb 21,feb 28, mar 6 etc.

Let\'s see how far i can be true.

May not be true. I had my FP done on 12/12/00 and i am still awaiting for appproval. My details are as follows:

FP:12/12/00

GC_KE_PEECHE is talking about FPs done in 2001 NOT the ones done in 2000 (for RD - ND in 2000)!!
but hey, this an interesting study, good work GC_KE_PEECHE.

Very good observation. To me it also seems they do:

1. They currently process EB2 cases mostly, however I\'ve seen one case EB3 approved,

but it has strange 01/31/01 FP so maybe an exception

2. A week ago they were approving EB2 cases with FP of 01/02, etc.

3. This is too guessing, but it looks like they have divided approval into two streams: one is an old and traditional, based on multiple criteria, where they clean up 1999... and another is what GC_KE_PEECHE described.

Interesting stuff. I sure hope it bears out. I\'m sitting and waiting after completing FP on 3/27/01.

I am also thinking that INS is attempting to adjudicate all application filed after October 17, 2000 within 6 months of Receipt.

Interesting indeed.

Yes, my ND is 03/00, it should have been approved with the rest of 03-04 by now, but it is not even with an official per IIO. The reason might be my first FP on 01/11/01 was rejected, my second one was cleared on 02/10/01. GC_K\'s theory seems to have some truth in it. Or at least, good pattern recognition matches the truth incidently.

Looks like there in some truth in GC_KE_Peeche\'s analysis. After reading his analyis i was going thr\' immitracker.com and i found most of the individuals who got approved recently had their FP done prior to 1/9. There were couple of incidents where FPs done in mid Feb. were also approved(EB2 China....). If GC_KE_Peeches were to be true, its not too long before i Can hear some good news from INS.

Lets wait and see.

actual FP taken date or FBI to INS reporting Date.
which date do you all think is important to INS. If the theory of GC_KE_PEECHE\'s is correct, then which date should we be concerned about.
Can you please share your thoughts.
