My 485 is approved

HI,

I am silent visitor of this forum. This is really a great forum. About me , My 485 was approved on 4/28/2005. I only came to know about it yesterday. For some reason I did not receive the approval email. But yesterday the status updated to Card Order completed and mailed.
Thank you very much to all of you for all the support you provided. Thanks to Rajive S Khanna for creating this great site. I wish every one all the best. I hope every one will get their Green Card soon. Thanks again. Please let me know if you have any questions.

Here are my details
Mine is NJ Labor EB3 applied on 12/2001
Labor AP on 1/2004 after a Query on Prev Wages
I140/485 ND 4/15/2004
I140 AD 8/2004
FP done on 3/25/2005
FP Msg updated 4/11/2005
I485 AD/CO 4/28
I485 CM 5/3/2005

I am not sure how. But it was on 5/3 saying that they mailed it. Hope I answerd your question.

Hey Siri09,
Your case result has brought new life to my situation. I did my FP in Brooklyn on April 1, 05 a few days after yours. I am keeping my fingers crossed .... :p . By the way thanks for helping us with your post in the FP forum about the ESC details in Brooklyn.

Hi Siri09,
1. How did you understand that you got approved on 04/28 if there was no email sent to you?

2. Also on the USCIS site, did it show as approved between 04/28 to when you actaully saw the "mailed notice"?

3. Also what was the status message before 05/03?

- I called the to check the status of my wifes AP and I ended up finding that our 485 got approved

-That is correct the notice shows the AD 4/28

3. Also what was the status message before 05/03?

- Same old status the FP recieved and process resumed

I received my card on 5/6 and finally my GC journey is over. Thanks again and I wish every one all the best. Please let me know if you have any questions.
