Hello Everybody
Yesterday I talked to IIO. She told me that my case (ND 8/15/2001) has been assigned to an adjudicator since May 8th, so it should be approved with in a week or so. She said thsi adjudicator is very busy and 1000's of cases has been assigned to him. I explained her the whole situation that my currect EAD runs out on May 23 and I will not be able to work on my current EAD after May 23 and 3rd renewal of EAD was filed on March 26th and it taked 150-180 days for EAD to be approved. She immediately emailed to the adjudicator explaining my situation. Last night I checked, my 3rd EAD was also approved.
Last month, my lawyer applied for H1B under premium processing for me so that I can work on that even if my 3rd EAD does not come on time. My lawyer had emailed me On tuesday(5/12/2003), that I will have to go to Mexico to get my H1B stamped before May 23 in order for me to continue working for my employer. I had booked the date with US Consulate in Ciudad Juarez for May 27th. This was very risky because if they deny my entry to US from Mexico then I would have to go to India to get my h1 stamped before May 23.
Anyway, when I heard this, I felt very happy that now is the time for me to deepen and strengthen my faith. I chanted "Nam Myo Ho Renge Kyo" (form of prayer in SGI Buddhism) with strong determination like a roar of a lion that I am going to WIN. Chanted for 3 hours to have wonderful and compassionate dialogue with IIO and for IIO to help me and I called IIO yesterday mornng. She immediately emailed her supervisor about my case. Last night I came home, chanted again and I checked the website, my wife's EAD was approved but not mine. This morning again, I woke up early, prayed, called TSC and another IIO told me that I should expect my approval within 1 week, it was assigned to adjudicator on May 8th. She also told me that my EAD was approved yesterday with my wife, however they had not updated the website or voicemail. I checked the website after talking to her, my EAd shoed approved.
I am going to continue chant/pray with strong resolve that I am going to win and get my green card approval with in a week, so I will give you good news very soon.
Wish you good luck.
I feel that for all of us "The darker the night, the nearer the dawn is."
