My 140 is cleared in Nov and..

Hi my 140 has been cleared and I was laid off in the same month. My H1 has not been cancelled. I would like to know if I file for 485 now how is my status going to affect. Will I be able to continue with the 140 approval I got, even I am laidoff? my employer says would file for my 485 once I get a project

first . thats more important i guess . I think after that you can go ahead and file for I485 . I have a friend who has done that .
