At the CP interview in bombay do you have to hand over the last 3 to 4 month pay check stubs at the window or is it a documnet to have just in case. Basically is it collected by the interviewer.
According to my lawyer, pay stubs are not required as Consular Officers do not ask for them. But it is good to have the last 4-6 pay stubs as a proof of current employment. What is required is the Tax Transcripts from IRS for last 3 years.
