Hi Friends,
The interview at Mumbai Consulate was very simple. My interview was at 9:30 in the morning and they did not call me till 11:30 am. After that they requested minimal set of documents (no local PCC required - I had email and phone confirmation on it).
At the interview time, they called in and asked us to take oath, sign paperwork and pay the fees. No question asked.
One word of caution: My paperwork after the visa was issued had mistakes both for me and my wife. PLEASE CHECK THE PAPERWORK THOROUGHLY TO AVOID PROBLEMS.

- Wrong passport information on my wife's paperwork. Instead of "U" they had imprinted "V".
- Spelling mistakes on my Mother's name.
They asked me to come next day and go directly to window 9. There they immediately took all the paperwork and asked me to come in the evening and collect everything. Just hassle, but very straightforward.
