I now have 2 passports since my citizenship oath - one from pakistan and the other from the US. I need to travel with my original passport because I have a valid visa on the original passport for India. Upon return to the US I will need to use my US passport for entry. Is this legal?
Thanks

Pakistan Does Allow for Dual Citizenship. More Inside

I am concerned about questions being raised upon re-entry to the US, that I travelled to India with my Pakistan Passport and used my US passport for entry back to the US. Do you think I could get official confirmation by calling the passport office in the dept of state?

I think it depends if Pakistan allows dual citizenship. Having a passport alone doesn't mean anything. The day I got my US passport, I still had valid Indian passport but I am not Indian citizen anymore so can't use that passport even if it is valid as I had given up my Indian citizenship they day I became US citizen. So I went to Indian consulate, got the visa to visit India and at same time they cancelled my old passport (I asked them).
