Multiple Questions

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum so im not sure if this has already been discussed, but let me present my case:

I got GC (by marriage) on Feb 20th 2008 applied for "condition removal" 3 month ago and got the 1 year extension, I did my finger prints 7 weeks ago, and now my case is being rewied.

My wife will be getting a job in the next few weeks in Canada and will be working for a US non profit organization - witch according to my knowledge, gives me the right to file for citizenship right away.

We moved to Canada 3 weeks ago and we just got the confirmation for her job.

My questions are:
1) How should i proceed with my case as of now, I did not notify anything when I left the US.
2) Can I apply for a Canadian visa (working visa) or citizenship (my wife is Canadian as well)
3) Can I apply for Citizenship even before Iim getting my new GC?
4) If im not able to get citizenship right now can I stay here legally?

Thank You fot your help.

You must be thinking of expedited citizenship under section 319(b). Don't assume that the particular job and organization she works for will enable you to qualify for 319(b). Many non-governmental organizations don't qualify.

For more responses, move this thread to the US Citizenship section (use "Thread tools"->move thread).
