Multiple Jobs with EAD

Because of this market situation I was thinking of keeping a part-time backup job with my EAD.

I got my EAD from my present employer and I am still working with them.

Can a work for another employer - part time? Is that illegal? I need to go with W2 or 1099?

EAD gives you complete freedom (just like GC itself). Go ahead, take up a part time job.

employment business policies. Many companies have non-compete clause and other restrictions on their employees taking up second jobs.
