I am thinking to ask my new employer to file new labour, i140 on eb2. my questions

1. If the new labour is denied what is the impact on current i485
2. If the new I140 is denied what is the impact on current i485
3. After new i140 is approved, should I file new i485 or can i use old i485
4. If I have to file new i485, I know I can get old labours priority date. Will I get new A# or they assign old A#.
5. If I get new i485 receipt, what happens to old i485. Which i485 should i use to renew my EAD. I am using ead with new employer.

Has any one filed multiple i140 / i485 and EAD. Appriciate your help

There is no impact on one case if the other one denied except in case of fraud.
You need put your old A# on the new I-140 application. You can have two I-485 at a time or you can change the change the existing I-485 through a letter to USCIS.

You can use any I-485 as long as it is pending.

So many people have done this. Check on I-485 forums you will meet lot of people.

My situation

1.I140.approved+I485 pending NIW Canot be adjusted till 2010

2.I140+I485 both pending file on basis of RIR

3.I.140 approved(PP)+1485 pending on basis of PERM

if i want to interlink #3I-140 with# 1 I485 do I need to withdarw #3 I-485
