Multiple I-140 - Clarifications Needed

I am in a strange situation.

1) I have approved Labor and I-140 from 2 companies (Company A and Company B)
2) I currently work for Company B and the PD for my Labor in Company B is April 2008. I-140 was applied in July 2008.
3) I applied for Labor subsitution from Company A last July 2007. The PD for that labor is Jan 2006. I-140 was applied in August 2007. I do not currently work for Company A.
4) 2 weeks back I got I-140 approved. The strange thing is that both the companies I-140 got approved at the same day. In the approval notice I see a PD and it is stated as Jan 2006 (Labor Sub PD).

The questions I have are.

1) Is it okay to have 2 approved I-140 from 2 diff companies at the same time?
2) As you would see my PD has been dated as Company A's PD. I would never want to work with Company A as I am currently happy with Company B. If company A decided to withdraw the I-140 notice to USCIS, will it affect my PD?

Please help me out with the above questions.

since your 140 with the earlier pd is approved, you should be able to interfile with company b 140 and claim the earlier pd. if you have already filed your 485, interfiling may be a little bit more challenging based on recent posts I have read.
