PD: 04/98. I-485 filed 03/00 at CSC EB-3.
Received first finger print notice 07/07/00 for myself and my wife. Received second finger print notice 10/16/00. When we went to the local INS office, the finger print officer refused to take our prints as he said, that our 07/07/00 prints are valid and in good status. Received third finger print notice 02/01/01, and the same officer at the local INS refused to take print again. He said, that the prints are good for 15 months and there is no need to take finger prints again. He wasn\'t sure, why we keep receiving the notices when our prints are in record. After talking with local immigration officer and his supervisor they suggested that we should write to INS, CA for clarification. Any advise? Has anyone been through this situation? Any help, appreciated.
We are not sure, if our prints are really valid. If so, why haven\'t we received a call for the interview even after 6 months? So confusing and frustrating.
