Multiple FP notices, what to do?

1) Myself and wife changed our address with USCIS on July 12th.
2) On July 19th we got confirmation letter from USCIS
3) On July 27th i called USCIS again to correct a typographic error during my address change(Only for me)
4) Attorney's office received Biometrics appointment notice scheduled for 8/20/05, with a notice date of 7/27/05 ( We did not receive any direct copy from USCIS)
5) On August 11th they sent me(only me) another notice for FP scheduled for september 1st.



Why there are two notices for my FP. Do i have to attend both FP(one says ASC appointment notice and other says FP) schedules? How do i resolve this.

What is the code number on FP notice. I think one is Biometrics and 2nd is
FP Code 1, you will have to do both.

Both are code 2.
Should i call customer service and let them know or they are going to create more trouble?

In that case, you can go for either one. I would go for the earliest and ask ASC if there is any need to appear for the second one.

Give both FP notices to ASC and get it stamped

My wife and son got FP code1 notices second time a few days after completion of FP code1. When they went to Dallas ASC to check whether they have to be fingerprinted again, ASC simply stamped the second notice "Already processed on xx/xx/xxxx".

Just present both the FP notices to ASC. They will stamp and return them to you as proof of having processed your fingerprints.

Well u can talk to the help desk but whats the harm going both the days for the finger print . Unless the place where u have to appear for FP is too far u can go both the days and do FP code 2 .Better be safe . Good luck .!!
