multiple entry visitor visa - help

Hi,

I am on F1 student visa here in US. Will my mother be able to get a multiple entry visitor visa that is valid for 10 yrs? If so, what is the minimum duration between her departure from US and a subsequent re-entry into US. The title of the visa by itself doesn't make this clear!

May be my question was ambiguous. Again: assuming my mother goes back home after her visit here, how soon CAN she visit me again. I really need to know this as soon as possible to make several deadline constrained plans. I am sure some one in this forum must have had this situation. Kindly help me.
