Multiple Entry - H4 to H1 stamping -- Plan to go to Chennai

hi,
I came here on a H4 visa and got it converted to a H1.
I am planning on a trip to Chennai.
What are the things I should take care of and has anybody done it recently.

Any help on this is appreciated.

ayya - pls don\'t go to chennai for stamping. For several of my friends Chennai consulate rejected H4 -> H1 conversion for different reasons. Either go to Mexico or Mumbai.

Do not go anywhere. The consulate will reject your application outright. My wife converted from H4 to H1. We went to Toronto to get the multiple entry. They rejected her application. So do not take any chances. Be happy that u have a job.....
