Multiple entries with reentry permit

I took re-entry permit for 2 years.
1.Is it possible to re-enter to US from INDIA multiple times within validity of permit.
2.If I enter US for less than 1 year and stays for 2 months and again returned after <1 year. (Since the trips are < 12 months) Can I apply for N-400 after 5 years as normal process or does it effects continuity of residence.

Please share your experiences/ thoughts.

while apllying for REP - u say which countries u woul dbe travelling.

does this info - in ur REP. for example lets say one says he has to go to India in his REP and just goes to Canada (lets say for few months) is it ok if he uses the REP on his way back?
