Multiple employments right after GC

I signed 2 1/2 years contract with my company that is sponsoring my GC. One year is already over now. If I get the GC now, while working for this employer to fullfill the contract, can I work for another employer also using the approved GC rightaway?

Is this okay?

You can do that even on EAD. There should not any problem

It is Ok with GC generally, but check your contract conditions with your present employer if there is some clause about taking additional employment.
