Multiple 485s filed - URGENT help needed

I have a situation that I need your opinion on.

My 485 : Applied 485/EAD/AP : 485 FP done on Oct 5th, received EADs, APs pending
(My Spouse is a derivative on my 485)

Spouse's company also applied for 485 ( I am the derivative).
Spouse's 485: Applied 485 only : Received FP notice for Nov 20th.

My situation is:

1) I wont be able to make it to USCIS office for FP on Nov 20th, owing to a business travel that I cant miss. Traveling to India on a valid H1B Stamp. I have not used my EAD at all.

In this case what are my options.

2) At what point of time is it best for me to "Merge" (??) both these cases/scenarios ?

Any insight is greatly appreciated, as my travel trip is just a week away.

Go for an early FP. Show them your tickets. They do it all the time

Yes, Just take the FP notices and go for the FP's. They do it all the time. No problems.

Tried Early FP a couple of times. No Luck. The USCIS center brushed me off gracefully saying they have been overloaded and running understaff and thereby can't accomodate any early appointments. I had to go with re-scheduling the FP appointment.

Hopefully they will come through by giving me a better date soon. Will keep everyone posted.
