I am a Canadian, married an American in August '05. I just received my notice to have my biometrics taken (yay) in a week. We have applied for the following:

I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN
I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION
I131 APPLICATION FOR USCIS TRAVEL DOCUMENT

All my case numbers start with MSC... (the docs were submitted prepared and submitted by my laywer). Where are my items being processed? Texas? MO? Which service center? and where can I look for an accurate reflection of their processing dates? undefined

Hi TDanley, congratulations. Regarding the MSC case numbers, not to worry. It seems like all the applications that were sent to the chicago lockbox comeback with case numbers of MSCxxx. My office is philadelphia but my case numbers start with MSC too. Eventually your case will be forwarded to your local district office. When did you apply and what is your PD?

I applied Sept 13th was my received date, my notice date was Sept 17th. What do you mean what is my PD (processing dates)?

I'm trying to figure out what where my application is so I can figure out what the processing dates for that location are so I can determine where I am in the list ?

Hi tdandley74,
It depend which state and city you live in?Depending on your DO you can fine out PD dates.
DO? What's that? my stuff was sent to the Chicago Lockbox.... I'm in North Carolina though.

The chicago lockbox is just a central receiving and initial processing facility for relative based adj of status cases from most of the country. They send out the receipt notices and FP/biometrics (if I'm not mistaken) appt notices and then forward your papers to the district office processing applications from the area you live in. In your case, since you live in N. Carolina, your application will be sent to the atlanta district office. Atlanta DO is what will schedule your interview and then approve or deny your case.
