This is a little research I made on the MSC cases
The receipt numbers are not randomly generated. They are incremented as each case is added.
I tried to look for other receipt numbers other than me, here is what I found:
About 10 percent of the numbers are associated with a case, mostly it is either i-485 or i-130 or i-785.
i-485 cases are about 50 percent and i-130 about 25 percent and i-785 about 75 percent.
I looked up about a 200,000 case numbers (of course not each one of them) about 100,000 have a recipt date of same date. So my conclusion is there are about 10,000 cases added or sent to NBC.
That is an huge number to me. I cannot believe how many applications are sent to NBC
