MSC cases: what are those?

Dear friends,

I married USC, and we sent our papers from Brooklyn, NY to a Vermont Service Center at St.Albans. However, all my cases start with MSC-05-XX-XXXXX. Does anyone know what it means? :confused: I thought since it is in Vermont, the cases should start with VSC. Any thoughts?

I have same question.
My case was Transfered to Washington DC Office from VSC and I applied E file for EAD and AP and I got MSC numbers.

Also address shows up stating that I should send paper to Lee's Summit, MO instead of Washington DC office. Any body have clue? I'd really appriciate it.
