As you can tell from my signature below, I'm pretty far advanced with my FB GC, in fact my interview is in a week. Still, none of my processes show up at the USCIS Case Status online.
I've even received my EAD and AP, and even those say validation error, and cases cannot be found etc.

I have MSC (Missouri Service Center/National Benefit Center) receipt numbers.

Does the MSC require a different way of tracking by chance? I mean I was able to track all my past immigration processes at USCIS case status online (LIN receipts numbers). But none of my MSC receipts work there...

any ideas? I'd be nice if I could track it because I would love to travel to visit my family in May but I don't want to make any arrangements until I see online that card production ordered (as long as I get an approval at the interview :D )

No one has any ideas then? Still nothing showing up. I was approved for my GC at the interview but it'd be nice to know when card is being produced or mailed because we are planning on travelling in a month...

any ideas?

I would say around 2 - 3 weeks you will get your GC. When my parents applied for AOS, and they now received the GC, their online status still show pending for I-130/I-485/I-131/I-765 (Yet, they already received AP, EAD, GC). Relax and wait for GC itself, but you might have to spend more for airfare on you May-09 trip.

But at least yours does say something :)
Mine just gives me an error like it doesn't exist. I also called the 800 number, same result.
But I know sometimes it doesn't work. The interviewing officer was also surprised that I couldn't access it.

Hello everyone My reciept also have the MSC and I been trying to create an account online from day 1 (01-04-09) when I recieved all the reciept in the mail,so I been trying to submit the reciept online to keep a track of my case but it won't let me,it hit me always an error, I been trying in many way but nothing yet, until yesterday, I decide to call the USCIS and the customer S. Rep. told me that she was going to tranfer me to Tech Support Dept., I thought it was going to be just a claim request, until a nice lady answer the phone , and she introduce herself not as a Tech support person but as an examinate Officer, I told her about my case, then she ask me for the reciept # and she checked all the reciept one by one , and she told me at the end that all docs were submitt it and they are reviewing the package and they are processing the case, and then I told her that I was glad to heard that, then at the end I asked her again if there was a way to create my profile online since the system don't let me and just hit an error everytime I submit the #, and then she said: " right now there is a Technical Glidge" in the system and that probably I will never be able to register online, she told me not to worry that I'm not the only person with this situation, that many ppl get approved without being regiter, she just said at the end, just wait for any notification in the mail that what really count, and she wish me good luck. At least and even thou I recieved my NOA's I know they are processing my case without being in the system. if this help pls do not feel panic because you can't see your case, just called USCIS and just to make sure check your case with them.

Cool, thanks for the info.
I knew there must have been some kind of technical problem. I mean I probably set a new world record in GC approval speed :) Still there was nothing ever registered in the case status system.
I'd just really like it to work so I can check when my card is in the mail so I can make travel arrangements, but that's OK, I'll be patient.

I guess I can always call like you did and ask someone to give me an update at the USCIS customer service center.

Yeah I was wondering about this too! It sucks that one cannot check the MSC status online, it would have been much more convenient...

How long did it take from you getting your notice of action before u got ur fingerprint done and ur approval for ur greencard?
