MS + 5 years exp. in US; No relatives in canada

Hi,
I have a MS from US University and am working on H1 since past 5 years in US. I don\'t have any relatives in Canada. I work in the software sector and am 30 years old. Can I get the eligible points for canadian PR according to the new rules proposed ? Please help.

you should be able to get 80 points if you have
MS degree- 25 pts
betn age 21-44- 10 pts
have wife w/ bachelor\'s degree-4 pts.
min. 4 years of work experience-25 pts
fluent in english- 16 pts

Anybody knows what is the current processing time at Buffalo. My receipt date is 04/12/02.

Do you know how much time it takes for PR processing in buffalo (assessment). I have just applied last week.

How do they check the fluency in English?

Also, Can I send the application now and then after a month the FBI clearance? This way I think I can save atleast 1, 1.5 month time. Anyu advice on this....

I have a MS from US University and I have a work experience of about 6 years in India and about two years in USA. I don\'t have any relatives in Canada. I work in the software sector and am 30 years old.I am not married. Can I get the eligible points for canadian PR according to the new rules proposed ? Should I apply considering the proposed changes in the immigration rules.Please help.
