OK, here is the scenario. H1B extension was application filed. Application was denied. MTR (motion to reopen) filed, but candidate kept working for the applying company even after the H1B denied but MTR was filed, in the hope that MTR will be approved. After two years of waiting on MTR, the case is reviewed and H1B extension application is approved. Is the work that was performed after denial (during MTR pending), considered authorized or still remains unapproved?
