Mr Jim and others: Need your guidance

Hi, thanks for a really helpful and social service. My question is:

I am on H4 status valid till July 2003. I-485 is under process, have my EAD but haven\'t applied for Advance Parole. Till now I haven\'t yet used my EAD. I might sign a contract with a Hospital for a RESIDENCY position in the last week of March 2002 on the basis of EAD. But I will start the Residency in July 2002 and then I will start getting salary. I am planning to visit my home country in April 2002 and come back in June 2002. While entering US do I have to show H4 or Advance Parole?

You can show H4.

You can get into the country by showing your H4, since its valid till
July, 2003
