Hi, My name is Adi,

I have a really difficult situation. I met my girlfriend in Europe, last year. I live in Houston Texas, and she is located in Calgary, Alberta. I have came 2 times in past year, to see her. I am 19 and she is 20 years of age.

We decided for her, to come and live with me to United States. Now I am trying to find information, what is the best thing for us to do, in Order for her to come, because I will loose her, if She cant came, and she is really nice person.

options

I assume that you are a US citizen and that she is a Canadian citizen. Unless she qualifies for some family based immigrant status (ie she has an american citizen parent) her options are to become engaged to a US citizen (you maybe?), seek K1 status (fiancee), enter and marry within proscribed time (I think its 90 days) and seek green card through marriage. You could just jump to the marriage part. If that isn't in the cards (and I wouldn't recommend jumping in to a marriage with someone you likely do not know that well given the distance and your age), she would need to qualify for an employment based status. There are a few options for this but most require a minimum of a bachelor's degree. Of course, she could also apply to attend school in Houston if she is so inclined and can afford the tuition.

hello..my name is eva...i am the one moving (or trying to move) to texas.
i am not a canadian citizen yet but i will apply in couple months for that.
i heard its rellay hard to move to usa.strijelac does have a green card and in one year he well fill out the application for usa citizenship.
i also heard that if i find a job there it would be easier for me to move to usa.
getting married to him would be the last option right now, becouse even though we are in relationship for a year now and talk over the phone every night,we have to get to know eachother (aka living together first),before we jump into the marrige.so i would like to what are my chances to move there if i am not a canadian citizen.
thank you

slim to none

Again, you would need to qualify on your own merit. At this point though, even if you qualified for an H1-B visa, the cap was reached and they won't be available for another year. Likely your only option would be to apply to university.
