I'm been living with my american husband for 6 years. We are married and we received my permanent residency. We applied for my citizenship, but INS will not process my file. I am full eligible and no criminal record per FBI. We want to have the same citizenship. We are considering moving back to my back home, not Quebec - somewhere in English so it's not difficult for him 
Can anyone explain to me breifly the process for him to be legally in Canada and eventually gain the same citizenship as me?
