Moving out of TSC area while I-485 is pending

What while happen if I move out of Texas center? Mine is a NIW case and I-485 is pending for more than a year.

Will TSC transfer my 485 case to other service center or local center where I work?

Thanks.

.. if you do inform them (as you must ... well, I think i read on this forum that it may not be necessary until asked for .. except offcourse the address change part ..), they shuld TRANSFER the case to the nearest adjudicating center of your new residence.

Good luck.

Re: oocyte ..

Oocyte, There is No Definite answer to what happens if you transfer out of your service center.
After you move, you have to file for AR-11 within 10 days.

What happens after that is case by case - i suppose it depends on how old is your case.

You could get FPed if you haven't been before ( like me )
or Your could get Transfered to the new SC ( like Americandesi)
or there maybe no change at all (like May01).

I moved from Texas to California. But they did not move my case. I updated address and submitted AR-11. My new lawyer said it all depends on the INS people. They might tarnsfer or they can approve if they feel like the applicant waited for long enough time.
I got my EAD renewed recently from TSC( filed from calif).
So whether the case will be transferred or not, GOD only knows.
