Moving/New Co./485pending

My 485 is still pending since March 02, I changed companies in same city and sent AC21letter, but now the new company offered me a job in a different city. Can I take it?? Should I?? What are the steps to take? The service center would be the same but I don't know how the move will affect my 485 application. Please HELP!!!!!! Thanks in advance.

Say I take the offer to move to another State.
What do I do? Should I inform INS? Will this affect my application since I am not working with the original sponsoring company but one that picked up application? I plan on using AC21??
Please help !!

You might want to check your labor certification (point 7) to see if it allows multiple locations throughout the US or at least has several different cities listed. It would be perfect if the new city is listed. However, if not then you could say that the move to the new city is temporary and that you will return to the original city listed in your labor certification at some point in the future (of course you would tell BCIS this only if asked). These are just my two cents - should you talk with a lawyer about this please post what his answer/recommendation was. Good luck!

My RD is March2002 I have not gotten FP notice yet when should I expect it? Will it take another year??? Is everyone as frustated as I am????

I think the 485 process is frustrating even for the most straightforward case, so any wrinkle doubles the blood pressure

Anyway, I think that you should take it easy. If you are relocating, you should inform BCIS of new address anyway using form AR-11. So do that.

Secondly, don't worry too much about I485 - you could get approved without any further inputs, so you would not need any action.

I think, however, that not having got your FP yet is strange. Can you ask your lawyer to follow up? Maybe it was sent but got lost misdirected etc? Have you checked online status? What does it say?
