Moving/New Co./485pending

My 485 is still pending since March 02, I changed companies in same city and sent AC21letter, but now the new company offered me a job in a different city. Can I take it?? Should I?? What are the steps to take? The service center would be the same but I don't know how the move will affect my 485 application. Please HELP!!!!!! Thanks in advance.

make sure that you file ar-11. also, i have noticed that when companies move around people, it will usually reflect in the pay. example a pay hike for moving to the new city or a pay cut because the new city is cheaper. i would suggest that you make sure that pay is greater than or equal to what was mentioned in the labor.

this looks like a simple case of ar-11 to me. no change of service centers. i donot forsee any problems by this move. however, i would add this disclaimer that i donot posses a crystal ball and that i am not a lawyer.

If I had this situation, I would only submit a change of address.
You have not changed employers and you are not moving out of the area covered by the service center where you started. I also think it would be wise to have the same or a better salary.

Just my opinion, I have no legal knowledge.

here is the url to the ar-11 (change of address form) <http://www.immigration.gov/graphics/formsfee/forms/files/ar-11.pdf>.

print this form out, fill it and send it to INS using certified mail. then after a couple of weeks, call up the ins and see if the changes are reflected on your applications.
