Hi,
My company (an american company) is based in Massachussetts MA. I was working for a State Govt client in Arkansas when I applied for my GC (Nov 2000). My project in Arkansas came to an end on June 2001 and I was moved to New Hampshire (July 2001 to Sept 2001) and then to Houston TX (from Oct 01 to date) where I am currently working. So I am back in the same region where my GC was applied.
It took 8 months for State (AR) Labor and was moved to Dallas for Federal labor on July 27, 2001. I am expecting my Fed labor to be completed in two month\'s time (June 02) as per the current processing times.
Owing to extremely slow processing time for I-140 and I-485 in Dallas SC, and since my current employer is based in MA, can I change/move my processing to Vermont region where the processing is faster?
Is this a legal proposition?
If so, what should be my best approach?
My H1 period is Sept 98 to August 04.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Cheers,
Biju
