Hello,

I complete 5 years of contiguous stay in the US this May 08. I wanted to file my citizenship application. I'm finishing my college degree in May 08, and joining fulltime job in Seattle in June 2008.

Can I file my application from my Iowa address in May before moving to Seattle? Or should I file from Seattle? Both of the places are under the NSC.

Thanks,
HA

You need to move and then file after 3 months after ur move. Thats the simplest.
Otherwise it is a change of district office and service center involved.

Good luck on ur job. Is it at MS?

NSC/TSC etc. is not the relevant consideration... The district office is the relevant consideration, and moving from Iowa to Seattle would be a different district office.

i dont know how slow iowa do is, but seattle has been doing better lately. as you can see my timeline i got my IL pretty fast. but others still wait. check out the seattle thread.
