moving back to India temporarily? will GC continue?

I have been with my current employer since Dec 2000 and this is my first job. My employer has filed for my GreenCard in EB3 category and my Priority date being Aug '02. I have my I-140, EAD and Advance Parole approved. My 485 case has been pending for 180 days. Considering this situation, I think I qualify for using AC21 to change my employer. If my NEW employer can offer me a position similar to the one described in Labor certification BUT would like me to work in their office located in INdia for extended period of time(1-2 years), Can the Green Card process continue? OR will it be abandoned? Do you foresee any issues in this process?

Any information is greatly appreciated.
 
As long as your move is for a valid business pupose and your new employer can support it, you should be fine.
