Moving after learning that name-check got stuck

Is there anyone who moved after their interview to the territory of a less congested Service center (Nebraska of course)? What is your experience?
The reason, I am asking that is that my husband's case got stuck but he will move to the new place very soon while we are staying behind for various reasons. Technically he can claim both places as his residency, just can not decide which would be better or even if it matters at all.

It doesn't matter if he moves. It will not expedite the processing of his application as the delay is due to the FBI namecheck and there is no legal basis for a delay because of a move. If a person moves after filing an application, USCIS is legally responsible to process the case as if it where still in its original jurisdiction.

Thank you for your answer. I saw on USCIS page that they require N-400 people to call a particular phone number to report the address change along with the address change form. I wonder why. Besides you are saying that they

Does it mean that any appointments would be scheduled in the original location, not the one that you are moving to?

One more question:
I can see that your timeline has name-check submitted date. How exactly did you find out this date?

Appointments will be scheduled in your new location. They must treat the application as if it were filed at the new location from the very begining....meaning they cannot use the excuse you've moved so now you have to wait longer.

At the end of my interview the officer showed me a document while telling me that my namecheck was still pending. At the top of the page it had the submission date and below it it had the various inquiry dates.

I had the address changed in person, submitted the form, and send a certified letter. Then I called the 800 number and confirmed that they had my new address on file.
