Friends,

I have moved to new location (NJ) in Feb 04 but I am still with sponsoring company. I have mentioned the same in my AR-11 and updates to USCIS. My address has been updated correctly and my 2nd FP has also been done in May 04 the status of which has also updated. I am right now just waiting for 485 approval. My RD/ND is July'02 from NSC.

Question - Do you guys think I will receive an RFE (due to change of location) or direct approval? Has someone else been in same situation and approved already so can share experience?

Regards,

Ummm... looks like either this was a silly question or that none of u are in this position. Is that true????
Sorry guys... since its been such a long arduous ride I just didnt want to see any more speed bumps on the way...

As long as you are still with the same sponsoring company I do not think a simple address change will warrant an RFE.This is not based on my experience but on how common an address change can be.If it was so,we would have heard more people talking about this.....

Lets hope somebody else in this forum can add more to this....

THanks ssk007 for yr reply.. I feel somewhat better... Hoping what u say is true in my case. Lets wait and see..

Address change

Lucky65.....I just talked to a friend who had around 4 address changes in NSC region and got the approval on time.I am planning a move myself and talking to him made me feel better....

I think the USCIS systems probably just have the most recent address we told them over phone /AR11 and highly doubt if that can in anyway trigger an RFE!!

There are plenty of cases where NSC issues RFE for applicants who did not change home address and employers. OTOH, my friend was approved without RFE after three address changes and 6 months stay in India during AOS period.
