Move while Labor Pending?

Hi,
My labor filed last year is pending. My company has another office in another city and I have option of moving there with same duties etc.
I know that Labor is tied to job location but how can I save my priority date and also take up this position as well?

If my company shows my move as temporary, till which stage can I remain unaffected and at which stage would I need to move back to the old office and thus save my priority date?

Or are there any other options of moving as well as saving my old Labor application?

thanks

Keep in mind that your GC is for a job that you will take-up in the future. Basically, you claim that after you get the GC, you intend to work as you have specified in the labor certification. Infact, lot of people apply for labor certification with a company that they are not currently working for. In that case, they claim they would work for the company after they get the GC. I think you can take the transfer without getting into too much risk. However, everything depends on how flexible your company is, if HR will be willing to continue with the I-140 stage using the older location listed in Labor. If your company is very "flexible", I think you should be fine. If your company follows the book, every word in every line- I think you should not go for it. In any case, get more opinions and options, think through and then consult a good lawyer. Good luck to us all.

I changed offices/jobs within the same company while my labor was still pending. As long as the company is willing to sponsor your I-140+485 under the old job, you should be fine. Smaller companies tend to be more flexible. Good luck.
