Hi

I already send my application, finished my fingerprints and now wating for my interview letter. I need to move from my current apartment because have serious issues with roommates. I am planning to move 2 blocks away from my current address. Do you guys think it is safe to do that before the interview ?

If i decide to move , i can come and check the post box everyday for the interview letter..

You can move, but file AR-11. Also, make it a point to check yr mail at the previous address as communication from USCIS could still end up there.

And don't request that the post office forward your mail. USCIS mail don't get forwarded, they return to USCIS instead.

Unless you have permission from those who live in the place that the postbox is designated for, or you are still on the lease and still paying rent for the place, it is a Federal crime to check the mail in that mailbox. Just because you have the key doesn't give you the right to go into that mailbox.

Hi,
Not to tag along but I am planning to move to a close by apartment 2 days after my interview date, so can I update the address during my interview considering I have not moved yet?

Call USCIS to get interview letter

You should have got the interview letter by now. Call USCIS and find out the status of your application. Your application looks delayed.
